  • Galileo supplied the equipment to a CNG filling station that entered the Guinness for being the largest in the world

    Galileo, Argentina’s leading technology company and the only one that offers the full range
    of products for the CNG industry, supplied the equipment of the world’s largest CNG refilling
    station. The station, which occupies 7,000 square meters with 46 hoses, was honored with
    the Guinness world record.

    The world’s largest CNG station was opened in Singapore. This week Union Energy launched the refilling facility which is located in the Old Toh Tuck road near the city of Jurong East. All the technology and engineering developed in the venture was provided by the Argentine company GNC Galileo.

    The station, which occupies 7,000 square meters, began operations with 25 refilling hoses. The remainder, totaling 46, are operational from September 9 when the station was officially opened.

    As per its size, the venture was recognized by the Guinness World Record as the “world’s largest CNG station”, so the company is entitled to use the Guinness logo.

    The station will cater to both cars and buses. It will operate a Virtual Pipeline system, which will transport CNG to areas that are not connected to a gas network.
